Vernon is a city in Los Angeles County, California. It has only 112 residents (2010 census). The city held no contested elections from 1980 to 2006 as the city council canceled every city election and appointed council members. Site of the world famous Farmer John meat packing plant.

    it smells like the ass of a pig far more greater than any farm smell. it is the most disgusting thing I've ever smelled, I own a business and all my customers cant stand that smell, some even tell me they change their oil somewhere else so they wont come here and smell the rotten ass of pig, so this is affecting my business so I will have to complain to the city.

    Today, the building is a stuccoized crapbox. Only a hint of the old arched entryway visible on either side of the door remains of the original facade. The Los Angeles County Assessor's parcel map confirms that it is the original 1928 building.
